Analytics engineer. Programmer (python, Java), SQL, Snowflake, BI.

Both of these are true. Historically, only one of them has paid for the other.

About

The short version

I build the layer between a database and the person who has to make a decision from it. In practice that has meant dimensional models, SQL transformations, and Power BI dashboards — most recently on Epic Clarity data at a large hospital system, and before that on the technology side at a quantitative asset manager.

The other half of the résumé is comedy. I do stand-up and long-form improv, and I write and direct — a documentary, some narrative shorts. My prose style is dry to the point of being a bit of a problem; I call it sic.
